Roland MTLC-90SM Stereo Teaching Lab Console
A complete and cutting-edge digital system for the instrumental classroom.

The MTLC-16 System Software digitally controls lab communication hardware, computerizes recordkeeping with an electronic gradebook, allows drag-and-drop classroom mapping, and memorizes rosters and layouts. The included Roland Visual Music Tutor software provides visual guidance through a bouncing ball metronome, highlighted note heads, and automatic page turning. These foster solid music reading skills regardless of student level. In addition to the visualized Standard MIDI File playback, recording, and printout, the Visual Music Tutor can instantly resize notation; highlight note heads; and display a treble, bass, or grand staff for any SMF.

For the first time, MIDI sequencing has been integrated into a complete instructional package and is supported by a large library of Standard MIDI Files. Using your computers monitor output, student information can be displayed on optional S-video monitors, In Focus projectors, flat-panel LCDs, or plasma screens. The MTLC-16 Communication Console features stereo audio communication for up to 16 students and one teacher (expandable to 32 students).
