Numark CM200 We like this mixer - not because its brimming with fancy features, the latest digital this or that, but for one reason, and one reason only - its simple, what it does it does well, and it offers good value for money.
Its a 19 rackmount mixer thats aimed firmly at the mobile DJ, and offers him all the essential stuff, and a good range of inputs and outputs on its 5 channels (10 lines, 3 decks and 3 microphones can be connected) Each input has a gain control and 3 band EQ controls and the DJ microphone input has a on/off switch. Its also got a replaceable crossfader, which can be assigned to any of the music channels and a range of cueing options such as split cue and cue mix. The only negative thing we can find is the way Numark on making the faders reach the correct 0 dB level at about the 80% mark on the faders, meaning over-keen fingers can push the output into the red.
