Johnson introduces a new design for our traditional Bouzouki and Octave Mandolins for improved looks, sound, and playability.

These mandolins come with an extra deep body that gives them a bigger sound with lots of bark. They have a gracefully shaped, offset double cutaway design to allow easy access to the upper frets. These mandolins feature highly flamed maple back & sides with a chocolate brown finish. The bodies are bound in rippled ivoroid with Abalone purfling. Other features include diecast tuning machines with a 16:1 gear ratio, a compensated rosewood bridge, and an ivoroid heal cap.
