The heart of the SOLIDTUBE is the ECC 83 (12AX7) vacuum tube that provides the perfect transfer characteristics and is readily available. A 20 dB pad on the SOLIDTUBE enables the microphone to handle sound pressure levels up to 145 dB. Low frequency noise below 100 Hz can be eliminated by activating the low-cut switch on the front panel of the separate power supply. The SOLIDTUBE comes in a rugged aluminum carrying case with a complete set of accessories: elastic shock mount, windscreen, power supply and connecting cables. Three-year warranty.
